GUESS WHO FINALLY BOUGHT A HARD COPY OF BECCA FITZPATRICK'S 'HUSH, HUSH'?
Me! ;D
Yes, I know, I know. I've read it. (I didn't make a post about reading this book did I?). I've found out about 'Hush, Hush' in the year 2010 but I only got hold of the e-book this year. And so, being an impatient person that I am, I read it on the e-book. Same goes to the sequel 'Crescendo'. I actually wanted to buy 'Crescendo' too, along with 'Hush, Hush', but I didn't wanna have two heart attacks in a day... If you get what I mean. Hahaha
I really really love this series. But I kinda find it a little like Twilight...
Like for instance:
[SPOILER ALERT]
1. Lab partners
2. Finds out about mysterious guy via internet
3. Girl often finds danger
4. Guy wants to kill her at first.
5. Single parent
etc. I'm pretty sure there's other tiny details that are similar to Twilight.
But honestly, despite their similarities, I think this book is much better than the Twilight series. lol
Probably, vampires/werewolves are overrated and a fallen angel is a better substitute.
Well... except for The Vampire Diaries, who could hate on The Vampire Diaries...
Anyway, I'd give this book a rating of 4/5.
Go check it out :)
-- I purchased this book at Borders (The Curve, Malaysia) for $33.90

PS: If you're looking to borrow my book, I'm sorry, I can't due to this horrifying experience I had in lending my friend. You can search the e-book online though :)Labels: advertisement, BookReviews, shopaholic
