I KNOW I'M A LITTLE LATE ON THIS POST BUT HERE GOES
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIOW TENG! :D
So I got her a
dreamcatcher. (click that word, if you have no idea what it is!)
She wanted a blue one but I failed her ;( So I added in the charity bracelet from Cotton On :)
I themed the gift box like a parcel; with the stamps and everything!
It was a total fun decorating the outside (and inside) of it!
These are the pictures :)
I made a little joke too; Instructions!, and the paper behind that is a birthday note :)
And if you're asking, YES, that dreamcatcher is homemade :)
I'm planning on making a simple tutorial here.
Anyway, the story of her surprise birthday party is amazing lol
It started out with two of her College friends, Chia Sing and Jayne picking me up from College (because I'm a loser, I can't drive). Then we went back to their College's library and surprise me (Surprise no. 1) to Siow Teng over there and SHE CRIED! HAHAHAHA! After that, I gotta stall Siow Teng from not going home; She thought she was going home the whole time (her mom picks her up); But then there's a little complication: Siow Teng's mom called her and said she was picking Siow Teng up at 4 and it was 3:56pm that time. I texted Chia Sing to solve it and later, she texted me that Grace (Surprise no. 2) was at the bakery/cake shop called 'Secret Recipe' and that was the queue to talk Siow Teng into walking there. And then, while we were going out of College, her mom pulled up
out of the blue and Siow Teng wanted to go in. I was like Ahhh, this wasn't planned! And her mom said "I thought you were following your friend back home?" She literally told a part of the surprise to her. -_- And so I had to cover up by saying "I might've told Grace to give you a ride home..." (which was true, but she wasn't suppose to know that, YET)
---- After the party, I realise my white lie to cover up totally sucks because if I had told GRACE, how did her mom knew? lol -----
Then we went to Secret Recipe and SURPRISE! We sang a song for her and got her a brownie cake. :)
Later that evening, Siow Teng, Grace and I went to the lake in our neighbourhood :) and took a ton of pictures from Grace's DSLR.
- Pic deleted *sadface* -
And this is the dreamcatcher that she hanged in her car ;)
Pictures taken with: Nokia N900, Canon S95, Blackberry Dakota and Nikon DSLR (I'm not sure what model it was).
