SO JOE BROOKS WAS AT MY COLLEGE TODAY FOR A BRIEF MEET & GREET
I literally couldn't sleep the night before. I'm not a major fan or anything like that, but I just knew his songs and I've seen some of his acoustic sets in Korea -- he has such an amazing voice. But just my luck I got a 3 hour tutorial right before the meet & greet session's going to start. And as predicted, the place was filled with everyone when I came right from class. It's good to have a lot of connections in college (or life, for a matter of fact) and this applies where I found my friend, Joshua, up front and I went over and stood there with him. Hahaha. Right before Joe came on stage, I could see his and Matt (drummer)'s light brown hair passing through the windows and turns out I was the only one who saw that... making me the only one who screamed "Omg, I saw him! I saw Joe!" When Joe got up on stage, Josh apparently spoke a little louder than everyone calling Joe to sign his CD so I held out my hand and let him sign it too, ha.
I also got on stage for a contest before he arrived, so that I could win tickets for his concert this Saturday. Sadly, I didn't win it. :( But dude, gotta give some credit to me. I had to sing. Plus, I was the only one on stage who actually knew the lyrics to the chorus of "Holes Inside". So technically, I should have won. But meh... Signature's good enough. :D

I've been going to loads of concert in the last 3 years, that my parents are restricting me to go anymore. Hahahaha
But I heard We The Kings' are coming to Malaysia. ;) We shall see how that goes.

I didn't have any exclusive passes for Friday or been asked to help out for the press conference, but my friend Jaynelle did! She was super nice to get my posters and CD sleeve signed by Joe. And I didn't even asked for Matt or Clinton's signatures and she got them for me on the poster! Thank you loaaads.

Okay so obviously I'm hanging the signed poster up along with my Simple Plan (or Avril Lavigne? Can't decide yet) poster in my huge ass Ikea frame I got 2 years ago. Yes, I hadn't done anything to it. The main reason I got it is because I got a Paramore poster -- Yes, you may imagine me jumping around with joy like a monkey. We had a little "spring cleaning" done, and somehow I misplaced my poster. Tragic, I know. I kinda thought my mom threw it in the trash. I checked the trash 5 times. There were only shredded pieces of paper. And my mom didn't even tear anything. It must be somewhere around here... though I looked for it at every corner, cobweb, cupboards, closets -- basically, everywhere!
I miss it.
