AFTER MY FIRST PORTRAIT, I DECIDED TO STEP IT UP A NOTCH 

First thing that comes to my mind is Hayley Williams of Paramore. I've always looked up to Hayley ever since I got hooked on to Paramore a few years ago. Through Paramore's record label Fueled By Ramen, I knew all other sorts of bands (you should really check out FBR) like VersaEmerge which leads to Blake (guitarist)'s girlfriend, Charlavail... who apparently is sort of like a doppleganger of Hayley. I've talked about her in my previous post also. 

Now, I've never drew portraits of "real" people before, I've tried but I failed miserably. But knowing me, when I feel a sudden urge to do something, it'll end up good when I do it right away. Sound a little cliché? lol. But anyway, that's what happened. I believe I was in coma because I never knew I color like that! I mean, for my standard, I think it's pretty good if I say so myself. It's like my hands have a mind on its own.

Since we are kind of at the topic, Paramore now consist of 3 members. It wasn't and is never Hayley and her boys. The band doesn't not belong to Hayley since it was formed by both Farro brothers. So when referring to Paramore, never say Hayley and her band or and her boys or and the band... otherwise, I'll come at you.

2. Charlavail Effron

8 shades of blue just for Charlavail's hair! Oh, and I'm not good at drawing profile view so this is a big one for me. Especially her nose. Took me forever to get it right.

At first, I couldn't decide on the background color till Emily gave a suggestion on Chartreuse.  I didn't have that color but I was able to mix a couple of colors to blend it into chartreuse. :)

3. Taylor Swift

This may look like Taylor Swift but it wasn't the picture I was drawing instead a default picture in my mind of Swift. So I erased it :'l.

Second attempt looked less of Taylor Swift but more of the original picture. If I could turn back the time, I'd make her eyes bigger. Fact is, Taylor has a complex set of lips. I took approximately one hour to make her lips perfect - one hour! Also, her nose is pretty hard to estimate on whether it'll look nice after the shading comes into the picture because I can't shade with pencil as it would make her nose darker than any other parts of her face because of the lead lol duh. So it was pretty hard to imagine that one!

1st May 2012 -

@meshellwe and I planned to surprise out parents with breakfast! But my dad woke up earlier than us - we woke up at 7:30AM - and our mom walked in on us mixing the pancake mix. Ahahaha, oh well. She said she was surprised anyway. 

We tried making strawberry pancakes but my sister didn't like it all so we didn't continue the recipe after one pancake. But I liked it. :( It's actually really nice knowing the fact that I don't like strawberries except eating the actual fruit. Then, my sister wanted to bake a cream cheese cake! It came out delicious!

This post won't be complete without a picture of my pup!

Night, it's 12:10AM. I've been sleeping at 2AM or 3AM lately - my sleeping schedule is nuts. I have to make sure this doesn't become a habit lol. Also, my color pencils (especially light blue, black, navy, mud brown) are getting super small! They're about ≤ 3 inch in size. I can't use them fully because of my giant hands lol. Sponsors anyone?
